Folk remedies for alcoholism

Folk remedies are one of the most affordable options for treating alcoholism. Its effectiveness has been proven in many examples from life, including in cases when traditional medicine does not give the desired results.

Consider the most effective folk remedies used for intoxication.

Air Chemerichnaya

For the treatment of chronic alcoholism, people use hellebore (it is also called the mastermind).

Pour a tablespoon of crushed plant roots with half a glass of boiling water, strain thoroughly after an hour, add boiling water to the volume again (up to half a glass). Store the refrigerated infusion in the refrigerator. Add fifteen drops to half a liter of vodka, shake well and drink. After that, the patient will start vomiting. Thus, in a fairly short time, the urge to get drunk disappears and avoidance of alcoholic beverages is developed in general. Chemerichny water can also be added to food and beverages (tea, compote): five drops three times a day.

castor oil

A very dubious method, once used by doctors. It is the fact that castor oil (literally a horse’s dose) is poured down the throat of a "sick person". There is no evidence that castor oil is a cure for intoxication. Apparently, the effect of castor oil is based on the fact that efforts to curb its laxative effects clear the minds of patients.

Love

The use of honey in the treatment of alcohol dependence is based on the fact that, according to folk medicine, the attraction to vodka develops due to lack of potassium in the body. Consumption of honey only to overcome this deficiency, therefore, the desire to drink is gradually reduced.

For one hour, every twenty minutes, the patient was given six teaspoons of honey (in just one hour, thus 18 teaspoons), then rested for two hours, and the procedure was repeated. In the following days, give six teaspoons of honey before and after breakfast. Treatment with honey is carried out in 3-4 days. Alcohol rejection appears. Although not yet clinically proven, it is clear that this method maintains and strengthens health - and thus provides relief from "alcohol bondage".

In addition to honey itself, bee products such as bee bread (bee bread) are used to treat addiction in alternative medicine. The mixture of one teaspoon of bee bread and one teaspoon of honey is taken half an hour before meals (do not swallow, continue on the tongue and dissolve little by little). The reception is repeated three times a day, the effect can be seen on the second or third day of treatment. For prevention, treatment is repeated three times a week. This method reduces the risk of mental trauma when stopping drinking alcohol, improves blood circulation in the brain, helps cleanse the liver of toxins, and causes alcohol cessation.

honey against alcoholism

The early stages of alcoholism are treated with bee stings: fifteen live drug bees are placed on the body, lightly pressed against it, and after five minutes the sting is removed. The bite appears painful only at the beginning of treatment. This method is not suitable for people with allergies.

Clefthoof

Clefthoof (European clefthoof, or called hernia) in the treatment of alcoholism is used in the form of a decoction. It is prepared like this: pour a teaspoon of hernia root with a glass of hot boiling water, boil for five minutes on low heat, close the lid and hold for another hour. Add the infusion to vodka at the rate of one tablespoon per 100 g of alcohol, or drink one tablespoon daily. Due to the toxic nature of clefthoof, it causes vomiting. Treatment is carried out until the formation of persistent alcohol rejection.

The reception of such a decoction is contraindicated in patients with angina pectoris, as well as in pregnant women.

There are also forms of clefthoof intake, such as adding plant powder to coffee (add a quarter teaspoon of clefthoof powder to fifty grams of coffee, repeat after a few days). The effect is the same: vomiting is caused when drinking alcohol and in the end there is a complete disgust towards alcohol.

Thyme

Thyme (aka thyme, aka creeping thyme) has long been used in the treatment of alcoholism, including in herbal teas and herbal preparations. For example, mix 4 parts thyme, 1 part centaury and 1 part wormwood. One tablespoon of this collection is poured with a glass of boiling water, insist for an hour, filtered and taken in 1-2 tablespoons twenty minutes before eating.

Thyme helps relieve alcohol intoxication, causes sedation, and then complete healing.

Other herbal recipes for treating alcoholism include yarrow (St. John’s wort), bitter wormwood, thyme, angelica, peppermint and juniper. The mixture of ingredients (spoon) is poured with one liter of boiling water and infused for ten minutes. After drinking this tea, kidney function and sweating increase, tremors stop, alcohol breakdown products are naturally removed from the body. A similar herbal tea is prepared from a mixture of thyme, horsetail, lovage (grass), juniper berries, cyanosis root. Herbal tea is a gentle treat to drink.

Poop mushrooms

Dirt beetle fungus is a unique and time -tested healing ingredient that allows you to get rid of hangovers. Mushrooms are prepared in the traditional way: boiled, fried, stewed, baked. It tastes like mushrooms and is not suspicious. When the fungus enters the body, the breakdown of alcohol in the blood slows down, and severe intoxication begins. Over time, after a few "sessions", there is a constant rejection of alcohol.

Baking powder

Baking soda is not used as a medicine, but as a way to soothe, relieve symptoms, and get rid of alcohol intoxication. For 180 ml of warm water, you need to drink one teaspoon (without slides) of baking soda and drink. Depending on the degree of poisoning, up to one liter of such a solution may be needed to cleanse and purify the body of toxins completely. Vomiting after drinking the solution will prevent the absorption of toxins into the bloodstream, and the condition will improve. Under the influence of carbon dioxide in the stomach, the production of gastric juice will be accelerated, which will also help neutralize toxins.

Bay leaves

Bay leaves are known to be a remedy that can cure alcoholism. Two bay leaves are put in 250 ml of vodka in a warm place for two weeks (for efficiency, you can add bay root or lovage root); then take 2-3 tablespoons before meals. Laurel texture causes indigestion and vomiting, which forever discourages alcoholics from drinking. Reception course: daily for 7-10 days.

There are several more recipes using bay leaves. So, 12 grams of lavrushka should be steamed with boiling water (one and a half glasses), bring to a boil, cook for 10-15 minutes. Drink the broth during the day.

Baranet

Ram (this is another name for a club -shaped lyre) is a low -growing vulture shrub found in our forests. This plant has long been used in the treatment of alcoholic patients. Ram stalks in an amount of 10 g poured a glass of boiling water and boil for 15 minutes on low heat. The broth is used in an amount of two tablespoons at the same time with alcohol. Taking the broth causes nausea and vomiting, after 3-4 times of reception there is a constant decrease in alcohol cravings.

A prerequisite for treatment with a decoction of ram is a pause in alcohol intake of at least 4 days. Since the plant is poisonous, the dosage must be strictly adhered to. In addition, this herb is contraindicated in diseases of the thyroid gland, diabetes, hypertension, pulmonary tuberculosis, bronchial asthma, peptic ulcer disease.

When treating with folk remedies, it should be remembered that, although there are many positive reviews, herbal ingredients are harmless, they can have side effects and contraindications. And, if you really decide to be treated at home, you need to take into account the patient’s health condition, the risk of neuropathy, and the tendency to allergies. The main thing is not to harm! We advise you to seek advice from a narcologist.
